How It Works

01

Verification

Every counterparty — buyer or seller — is verified directly before an introduction is made. We'll walk you through exactly what's needed once we're in touch.

02

Specification & Terms

Volume, quality specification, pricing, and delivery terms are confirmed and documented before we move forward.

03

Introduction

Once both sides are verified and terms are aligned, we make a direct introduction — no unnecessary intermediaries.

04

Ongoing Support

We stay involved through documentation, logistics coordination, and follow-up to help the deal close smoothly.

Guinea Supply Context

Guinea is the world's leading bauxite-producing country, and its exports supply a substantial share of global demand for the metallurgical-grade ore used in aluminum production. Buyers evaluating Guinea-origin bauxite are typically assessing established West African export infrastructure alongside the specification, volume, and inspection terms of the specific supply being offered.

The section below reflects what has been confirmed for this particular mandate — not a general market overview. Detailed chemical specification (Al₂O₃, SiO₂ content) is confirmed directly with the buyer during commercial review and is not listed above until that step.

Transaction Framework

This mandate is open to either spot or contract-structured agreements, with delivery considered on an FOB or CIF basis depending on the buyer's logistics preference. Independent inspection — through SGS or another mutually agreed inspector — is accepted as part of the transaction process.

Full commercial documentation, including specification and quantity confirmation, is released once a buyer has completed TIG's standard KYC and verification steps and an NCNDA is in place between the parties. This structure is intended to protect the confidentiality of the underlying seller while giving a qualified buyer what is needed to evaluate the opportunity seriously.

Buyer Qualification

To be considered for this mandate, a buyer should be able to establish:

  • Verifiable corporate identity and trading history
  • Authority to transact on behalf of the buying entity
  • A clear indication of intended purchase volume and destination
  • Operational and financial capacity to perform on a transaction of this scale

Buyers who can meet these points are asked to complete TIG's standard KYC process before full commercial terms are shared.

TIG's Role

Thiam Investment Group is representing this bauxite supply on behalf of the confirmed seller. TIG's role is to qualify prospective buyers, coordinate the exchange of commercial information under appropriate confidentiality terms, and support the transaction through to a formal agreement between buyer and seller. TIG does not own, mine, or physically hold the underlying bauxite.

Inspection & Documentation

Independent inspection through SGS or another mutually accepted inspector is accepted as part of this mandate's transaction framework — this means inspection terms are agreed upon and built into the process, not that an inspection has already been carried out on a specific shipment.

Commercial documentation is released progressively: general terms are available on request, while detailed specification, pricing, and contractual documents are shared only after a buyer has passed KYC and buyer verification and an NCNDA is in place. This sequencing protects the seller's confidentiality while giving genuine buyers a clear path to full information.
